GM Decisions in 2014 for Dallas Cowboys

Since the Dallas Cowboys have fallen short three straight years in a row at the end of the season to finish a dismal 8-8, here are some of the options the Cowboys need to view:

Offense

Kyle Orton has shown he can be a true relief backup for Tony Romo. He may not be Mariono Rivera, but he can get the job done. The true test is getting the offensive coordinator and the head coach to understand game management and game situations.

Who is to blame for the Dallas Cowboys Continuous Meltdowns?

Ladies and gentleman, let’s take a look at the top 5 contestants for the Cowboys last minute loss at home vs. the Packers shall we….


1.    Quarterback - Tony Romo
The man was 29 of 48 for 358 yards passing with 2 TDs and 2 INTs. Romo was off all day long under throwing Dez Bryant on two deep passes. He also underthrew Dez on his last TD pass in the fourth quarter, but Dez bailed him out with a great catch. Romo played good enough throughout the game, but threw the interceptions at the most crucial points of the game.

Dallas Cowboys Coaching Does Not Match the Talent

Since Jason Garrett has been head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, there has been a big imbalance between the coaching and the talent. Every year media people to include ex-coaches, ex-players, and football aficionados, talk about the Cowboys talent.

We always hear this phrase, “the Dallas Cowboys are one of the most talented teams in the NFL” The problem, the coaching does not measure the talent. Even if the talent is not as good as what everyone says, the talent is still better than the coaching.

Sunday since 1994, according to Ad Week.com. No other national television station or cable provider is able to broadcast every out of market game. Yes, other channels will tell you they offer NFL games, but these games are not live games. Their advertising is based on next day NFL rewinds.

Yes, the NFL has partnered with Verizon to stream live games, but only in your own regional/home market. Verizon signed a deal with the NFL to stream live games beginning in 2014. According to Money CNN.com, Verizon customers will continue to be able to watch

The Seattle Seahawks are the True Bullies on the Block

After watching the Seahawks play the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, I am convinced that the Seahawks are the new bullies of the NFL.

When most people think of a bully it’s normally someone who picks on another person or group of people they feel are weaker than themselves. If someone stands up to the bully, the bully will back down. In this case, the Seahawks are a different breed of bullies. This team is the definition of what a true bully really is.
