Business Plan Alterations for DNS-NFL

Researching business plan experts was not too difficult of a task based on a person’s professional credentials. Like any other research you click on a world-wide-web search engine and start researching key words such as “business plan experts”. Creating a business plan to run your own company is a much scarier project for any first time business owner.

The business plan experts featured in the DNS-NFL August 10, 2013 blog titled “Business Plan Development: Writing Experts and Components” have taught me a great deal. Incorporating some of the tactics from these experts is crucial to future success. Some of the key things DNS-NFL has will incorporate since reading about Mr. Shyam Jha and Ms. Sherry Darden are very simple....
From Mr. Jha, DNS-NFL will use his method of critical thinking. Jha is a professor at the University of Arizona’s Eller Management program, according to Mis Eller Arizona.edu. According to The Desert Lamp.com in Arizona, columnist Evan Lisull states the university is having issues with losing tuition assistance based on the number of students enrolling each year. Lisull has the university statistics showing 1000 students could attend one class yet each year one quarter of the freshman class do not return. A quote from the website read, “Nearly one-fourth of the freshmen drop out after the first year”.

Jha proposed for UA to think about slashing their student enrollment by one fifth in order for student tuition assistance to increase. According to Mis Eller Arizona.edu, Jha won the "Outstanding Module Teaching Award" in 2008 voted by a body of MBA students. In my opinion, this is a very prestigious award because the students vote. His teaching skills obviously had a supremely positive impact on the students.

From Ms. Darden’s professional expertise, DNS-NFL will utilize her training topics in entrepreneurship. According to Sherry Darden.com, Ms. Darden has a topic under Training titled, “What am I responsible for as a small business owner?” Questions one may not think about in a start up business are How long to keep receipts? Should I keep every receipt? What is truly a deductible? and things like that.

Ms. Darden has her Master’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Central Missouri State University. Darden teaches seminars expounding on her personal experiences from her first job to her current professional experiences, according to National Seminars Training.com. Ms. Darden is someone who knows business plans because she has experienced life.

The changes DNS-NFL will make to its business plan based on these business experts is to be strategic in every aspect of the business and to draw more from personal experience.

Sections of the DNS-NFL business plan that would be most important to investors are the competitive advantage, the key management positions and the financial projections. The competitive advantage will be the location of DNS-NFL planned for Columbia, Maryland. The headquarters will be situated between the NFL’s Washington professional team and the Baltimore Ravens home stadiums. The key management positions will be the four partners in (1) the Sports Agent/Life Coach, (2) Family Therapist, (3) Financial Advisor, and the (4) Entertainment Attorney. The financial projections will display the blueprint for the entire operations of DNS-NFL. Making sure a business can financially succeed should be every advisors outlook.

DNS-NFL will be a unique sports agency for the future of not only professional sports but college sports as well.
